What better way to spend the first day of spring?

Another meeting of the “Last of the Summer Wine” volunteer group today in beautiful sunshine on the first day of spring. A cracked cast iron bath had to be broken up to be carted off for recycling then it was back to the fiddly job of removing the barbed wire on the fence adjacent to the Beryl Burton cycleway.

We also had a lovely chat with a group from Springwater school who were walking down to Knaresborough.
