The Garth

Once a cluster of derelict farm buildings, the Garth is being brought back to life as a working heart of the landscape. Garth, from the Old Norse garðr, means an enclosed space, a homestead—a place for growing, making, and gathering. It carries a sense of shelter and purpose, of land shaped by human hands over generations.
Situated next to a gentle brook, a marshy meadow, and the old forest lane, the area will once again become a place of craft, food, and community.
We plan to hold a series of working parties in Spring 2025, so please keep and eye out, equally if you think could support this project, do get in touch.
