Knaresborough Forest Park and our sister site, Long Lands Common, form part of the Harrogate Wildbelt, a living, connected landscape stretching across the Nidd, Oak and Crimple valleys.

Together, these community-owned spaces are helping to reconnect land along the Nidd, restoring habitat, supporting wildlife and creating more opportunities for people to access and care for the landscape around them.

 

Wildbelt, being developed by Harrogate Spa Society, brings rivers, woodlands, commons and community land into a wider shared vision, weaving nature back into everyday life and connecting individual places into something larger, lasting and shared.
